Info
Paul Geiersbach (born 2002) grew up in a small village in northern Hesse. He initially studied visual communication at the Kassel Art Academy, before transferring to the Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts in 2023 to study visual journalism and documentary photography. In his work, he focuses on his native region of northern Hesse and its social dynamics.
He also devotes himself intensively to the digital space. His projects stem from his interest in understanding underlying structures and making them visually tangible. To this end, he explores topics such as digital identities, machine vision, and digital sovereignty, combining them with a documentary-style visual language.
